Thanking her for the flowers and for copies of Colette's and Alan's books; remarking that she loves poor Dorothy so much and saying it is a shame that she did not run away with Coleridge, noting that she should have and that this would have "saved both of them from a great deal;"looking forward to Wednesday; complaining that she "can still hardly hobble" and hates being so lame.
